OKORO

CUISINE Japanese Street Food
DISH DEBUT Yes   |   VEGETARIAN OPTION Yes

The “OKORO” Japanese Street Food brings Takoyaki [ (たこ焼き Tako (octopus) + yaki (grilled) ] to the anniversary Athens Street Food Festival for the very first time!

One of the most iconic street snacks of the Osaka Fish Market: round dough bites traditionally filled with pieces of octopus and authentic toppings such as sweet-and-savoury takoyaki sauce, Kewpie mayo, along with delicate flakes of katsuobushi and aonori.

Cooked on a cast-iron plate with round moulds, the experience is both flavourful and visual: the movement of the hands and the precision of the technique turn each portion into a performance!

A philosophy, where food becomes an experience and a connection.

Also on the menu: creative variations of takoyaki, inspired by other popular street food cultures.
Okoro has landed. Umami is inevitable.

☆ ASFFfoodie Note ☆
🌱Also available, vegetarian takoyaki with mozarella and kimchi.

“Every street food must first and foremost be honest and deeply flavourful, so that it can transport us to the neighbourhoods and streets where it was created and make us feel part of the heritage it carries.”
